Community Involvement 
The Al-Inshirah community is involved in a host of community service and community outreach projects.  Below is just a few of the programs or projects that our community are involved in.

Voter Registration
As Muslim Americans it is important that we register to vote and support candidates who share our political views and more importantly, will protect the interest of all people.  Voter registration by certified Registrars is available every Friday before and after Salatul Ju’muah unless otherwise noted.
Kansas City Adopt-a-Street
Join us to pick up litter and clean the “adopted” sections of Troost Avenue from 8:30 to 10 a.m.  The group meets the third Saturday of the month for the clean-ups and starts off at Troost Avenue and Armour Boulevard.  Excellent opportunity for youth to get community service hours for school. Ar-Razaaq Food Pantry
As Muslims we are encouraged to invite and share the great value of our beliefs with others and to fulfill the rights of our neighbors.  In service to the community is the reason Ar-Razaaq was established.  The Food Pantry is designed to address the basic human needs of the under served within the Kansas City Metropolitan area.  It is our desire to fight against human suffering, by assisting our neighbors in achieving basic needs that all human beings are entitled to.

The House that Abrahams Builds
This is an interfaith effort where Muslims, Jews, and Christians build homes in the urban core of Kansas City, MO.  The title refers to what all three religions have in common – Abraham as a founding father.

Troop 94 meets weekly on Monday’s at 6 p.m. in the Social Hall / School house just south of the musallah.
